Understanding and Using the Singapore Ship Sale Form, SMF Select Panel
The Singapore Ship Sale Form was launched in response to Singapore’s and the Asian maritime community’s call for an alternative form that would cater to their needs, in view of increasing maritime activities and maritime arbitration cases in the region. It has been five years since the launch of the SSF, which has seen it used in more than 200 ship sale and purchase transactions to date. BIMCO will be including the SSF in the suite of standard forms available on their widely used IDEA 2 charter party editor, making it easier for users to access and use the form on a platform they are familiar with.Download
